Your style feels timeless, yet always modern. How would you describe your personal fashion philosophy, and how do you keep it fresh while staying true to your signature look?

My fashion philosophy is simply to wear what makes you feel good. Don’t subscribe to trends - if ballet flats aren’t for you, don’t wear them! Just because something is trending or there’s a new “it” piece it doesn’t mean you need to adopt it. I’ve always leaned into neutrals, particularly black, because it’s what I feel most comfortable in. I think because I work a corporate job in addition to my creative work, suiting is a huge part of my wardrobe and feels very signature to me, which I love.

Eyewear can say a lot about someone's style. What are your go-to sunglasses when you're heading out for a day of meetings or running errands versus on holiday?

Absolutely agree with this - I think having a signature pair of sunglasses is SO cool. My go-to pair whether it be for the beach, meetings, errands, you name it, is the Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer with polarised lenses. My more fun or holiday pair are the Prada PR26ZS frames!

Your fashion sense often features monochrome and structured pieces. How do you like to make these outfits your own—whether through accessories, textures, or unique silhouettes that reflect your personal style?

Accessories absolutely transform an outfit. I’ll wear a suit set to work with a loafer and button up, then wear that same suit set with flip flops, a braided belt and bucket bag on the weekend. I think it’s all about being creative and using what you have in a playful way, that still feels authentic. Investing in silk pieces and leather is a great way to bring interest to an outfit, particularly a monochrome one, which is something I also do a lot.

You've shared some dreamy travel moments through your content. What's your favourite city to visit for its fashion scene, and why?

Copenhagen! The locals are so free with how they dress, nobody tries to look the same, they shop a lot of vintage/secondhand which creates so much more interest and individuality. They’re just so cool and unique and I always feel really creative when I visit. The French are a close second!

Fashion aside, what other passions or interests inspire you creatively?

I love reading. I’m a big book worm whether it be a romance novel, memoir, poetry, crime series or fashion, art and photography books. I get a lot of inspiration from coffee table books and of course, fashion shows - I’m always glued to Vogue Runway during fashion months. But the biggest source of inspiration is travel, nothing inspires me quite like a new city.

Lastly, do you gravitate towards a more staple pair of sunglasses or statement-piece eyewear? And can you share your must-have frames?

Always staple! My Ray-Ban’s are definitely my most worn and come with me everywhere. My Prada frames are also a classic with the oval shape and small logo detail, they’re really feminine which I love. I have a pair of Isabel Marant aviators which I would categorise as a statement pair of sunglasses, but I wear them SO often. I think because I do have a very minimal way of dressing, they add character and interest to my looks.
